Anthony Sobotik and Chad Palmatier opened Lick Honest Ice Creams in 2011 because they wanted to offer “honest ice creams”—that means making everything from scratch using the purest ingredients they can find. Both grew up in small rural, agricultural communities and they remain committed to using peak-season ingredients sourced responsibly from their local farmer and artisan partners. From the milk and cream that come from a local, family-owned dairy in Central Texas, to the fragrant lavender and luscious peaches harvested in the Texas Hill Country, Lick can trace every single ingredient to its source. They pride themselves on sharing unique and inspired flavors you can feel good about eating!
